These objectives are targeted at the women and children victims and survivors of abuse:

1. To promote and protect their rights;
2. To promote their economic empowerment;
3. To provide their rehabilitation;
4. To establish, run and support shelter homes and rescue centres;
5. To render free legal aid and representation;
6. To impart legal awareness programmes;
7. To promote and facilitate research and studies, monitoring and documentation on issues of their rights;
8. To lobby for the enactment and review of laws relation to their rights;
9. To impart counseling.
