‘Masilahi’ is a Kiswahili word meaning ‘Welfare’. Masilahi International Foundation Trust (MIFT) is a non-partisan Charitable Trust established in 2011 and registered under the Trustees (Perpetual Succession) Act, CAP 164, in Kenya. MIFT’s main aim is to cater for the welfare of the women and children victims and survivors of abuse in the home and work place. We have taken a holistic approach in providing services that meet these needs through empowerment programs in mentorship, skills training, financial assistance and, safe housing, counseling, legal, and advocacy programs coupled with research.
                                   
MIFT is an actualized dream of the Founder, being a survivor of abuse in the work place and home. MIFT is a safe haven for providing support and equipping the women with business and life skills to empower them to spring through life.
